Christmas Gifts For Dad - Think Tools
By Seth

This year, "practical" is the theme for Christmas gift
giving. So when you're thinking of practical Christmas Gifts
for Dad, think tools. Not only will Dad be flattered with your
impression that he's a "do-it-yourself guy," but you'll be able
to get him to start and finish all those household projects you
want him to do!
With that in mind, here's a list of some popular power tools
- all under $250 - to give Dad this Christmas:
Cordless Drill
Somewhere, tucked in a closet or the garage, Dad has a
cordless drill collecting dust and/or cobwebs. And even if he
can find it, the batteries are probably spent and the battery
charger is likely broken. Please get him a new cordless drill.
One, in particular, I recommend, is the Makita BDF452HW 18-Volt
Compact Lithium-Ion Cordless 1/2-Inch Driver-Drill Kit. This
drill is lightweight and has a handy LED light for work in dark
places. This drill is also compact in size, making work in
tight spaces a breeze.
Miter Saw
Start building Dad's trim carpentry skills with the gift of
a new miter saw. You know you want new crown molding in the
house, new shoe molding around the base boards, and all those
other miscellaneous projects completed. Give him this gift and
he'll have no more excuses. One saw in particular to look at is
the Hitachi C10FCE2 10-Inch Compound Miter Saw. The saw has
great basic features at a great price.
Nail Gun
When Dad gets all the trim carpentry cut correctly, he'll
need a good nail gun to get it all installed. Get him a nail
gun kit. One to look at specifically is the
Factory-Reconditioned Bostitch U/CPACK3 3-Tool Compressor Combo
Kit. Reconditioned means that the tool is just like new, but
the price is a whole lot better. This kit has everything Dad
needs in one convenient package and can be used on everything
from arts and crafts to crown molding to staircases.
Christmas gifts for Dad? Be practical and get Dad power
tools. He'll feel great that you think of him as a great
handyman. You'll feel great knowing that you'll get all those
household projects completed!
